JRG is the Jevning Research and Communications Group, Inc., an organization dedicated to exploring the phenomenon of Bigfoot around the world. Its primary area of focus is the continental United States. President and Chief Researcher William Jevning grew up in rural Pierce County in the state of Washington, where he was an avid outdoorsman. While still in high school, Will had his first encounter with two Sasquatches in the woods on his farm. Word of this got to René Dahinden and John Green, who invited Will to assist on their research trips in Washington. Will and Rene went on many research trips together in the late 1970s. After graduating high school he enlisted in the Army where he became a sergeant in the armored cavalry, and the air cavalry. He has worked in the private and public sector. Will has come face to face with the creatures not once but twice, has documented miles of tracks and spent the last fifty years conducting field investigations and Bigfoot research. He hosts four weekly Bigfoot podcasts and has a worldwide network of witnesses and experts. Currently the author of ten books on the subject of Bigfoot, Will participated in the History Channel show “America’s Book of Secrets, The Mystery of Bigfoot”. His research trip into Oregon in 2022 is the subject of the documentary "Bigfoot Evidence Oregon." The documentary "Bigfoot Southwest" showcases his network's encounters in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and New Mexico. His research trip to the Navajo Reservation in 2024 is documented in the TV series "Bigfoot Navajo Nation."
The Jevning Research Group continues to make documentaries and podcasts exploring the fascinating subject of everyone's favorite cryptid: Bigfoot
