I would learn differently that morning, never realizing what lurked in the shadows, watching."  This book chronicles the beginnings of William's realization that the woods did indeed contain a creature that people only whispered about.

Humanity has been fascinated with monsters as far back in time as there are records, the question is why? Could this originate from some primal fear of the dangers our species faced in day to day survival, or is there another reason? I many cultures around the world there are stories of hairy manlike creatures of gigantic stature, if these were simply the product of fiction then why are each so strikingly similar in detail to one another? Trolls and Ogres today are the heroes of children’s films, but centuries ago they were depicted as terrible monsters lying in wait to pounce upon the unsuspecting traveler to be devoured. In nearly all Native tribes on the American continent these creatures are recognized as a part of their surroundings, something to be left alone and often held in great dread. In this book I will provide some historical as well as contemporary information that will demonstrate that there is much more to the subject of the Sasquatch than myth, and deserves a serious inquiry. 

Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Range less than 25 miles northeast of Vancouver, Yacolt was once a gathering place for local Indians to trade with coastal and intermountain tribes. The Klickitat word Yacolt means haunted valley or a place of evil spirits. The name might have come from an incident when five children were lost picking wild berries. The demon, Yacolt, took them, so the story goes. In creating the Bigfoot Field Work 101 series, my intention was to help both the serious minded person wishing to become involved in the subject of the Sasquatch and the novice who may not be particularly interested in investing a lot of time to the subject but who may come across evidence and may want to know what to do with it. I originally made each volume separate, for those wishing to only focus on specific areas of interest in the subject, but here in this single volume are all eight volumes. My hopes are that anyone entering the topic of Bigfoot or those currently involved can use the information contained here to help them get the most from their endeavors. 

There has been a lot of confusion about evidence of the existence of the Sasquatch. Just what is evidence? how is determined? In this book Evidence will be presented from a different perspective than has been previously considered. 

The Bigfoot Survival guide informs the reader what Bigfoot is and the signs to watch for when in the forest, but also provides tips on safety if one encounters them. Its a must have if you believe in Bigfoot or not.

Witness of the unknown volume one is a collection of personal accounts from history and many sent to me that have never been made public. The first story is "The Cowman of Copalis Beach," which tells the story of a family which has a terrifying encounter with a creature which attacks the family members then destroys their home.  This is just one of a jaw dropping collection of Bigfoot encounter stories.  Also included is the first person account of the Ape Canyon incident.

This is the second volume of witness encounters in their own words. This volume has more than 60 stories. This includes Tom's encounter where he and his Forestry Service buddy were in the Three Sisters Wilderness and heard a whistle so loud it sounded like a freight train, Rick's encounter of a creature staring in the window at him and his brother when they were kids, Lonnie's fascinating sighting of a nine foot Sasquatch atop a ridge in southern Colorado in 2012.  And dare I mention the Apache cowboy who was sleeping in a barn and kept getting awakened by someone, (he thought his friend), so the Apache grabbed a nearby cattle prod and zapped who he thought was his friend, but it was a Bigfoot!  

First hand witness testimonies of Bigfoot encounters in their own words. This volume includes Lili's harrowing encounter when a black Sasquatch jumped onto the back of the truck when she and her brothers and sisters were in the truck bed! It had its foot on the bumper and was reaching towards her with abnormally long arms.  This was in the Rockies, an hour west of Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico.  Martin's encounter with a creature staring at him and his two friends in Puyallup Washington, back in the 1970s, Mr. Porter's hair raising encounters in Texas, Lynn's intriguing story of seeing a Bigfoot outsider her window in St. Vandalia Illinois - these stories and more are waiting for you in the pages of this fascinating collection.
